Outreach Services
Our Outreach Services include our bi-weekly food pantry, Toys for Tots distribution, Holiday Dinners, clothing & hygiene items, and Peer Support & Advocacy. We also provide direct referrals for Employment, Legal, Credit Counseling, and Elder Services.
Food Pantry
Tuesdays and Thursdays: 10:30am – 2:30pm, 10 Reed Street, Haverhill, MA 01832
VNEOC’s Food Pantry is located at VNEOC’s Outreach Center, which serves as both the administrative headquarters and as a gathering spot for veterans with daily programs. Sign up for the food pantry here.
In addition to the Food Pantry, the Outreach Center serves meals at 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday, to residents of VNEOC’s 12 Housing properties
Counseling Services
Available at all VNEOC locations
Our counseling services include personal, family, and group counseling related to Veterans issues as well as crisis intervention. VNEOC also offers community based Reach Out programs. Each program is designed to offer information and support to different groups with an emphasis on community connections and relationship building. MetroWest Division

Established in 1985 as Metro West Veterans Outreach and now a division of the VNEOC, our MetroWest Division provides services to Veterans & Veteran families living in Middlesex County and surrounding areas in Central MA. MetroWest is involved in the annual Juniper Hill Golf Tournament and Framingham Turkey Trot. They also participate in Toys for Tots, send care packages for deployed Servicemembers, and distribute “Back to School” Backpacks. The MetroWest Division is funded by the MA Department of Veteran Services and private donations.
Vet/Spouse Reach Out
AVAILABLE AT ALL VNEOC LOCATIONS
The Vet/Spouse Reach Out Program offers spouses and family members of Veterans the opportunity to share their experiences, gain support, and get information within the individual or group settings. Health Care, Advocacy, and Legal Assistance
Available at all VNEOC locations
We offer assistance with VA Healthcare Applications to ensure Veterans and their families receive adequate health care. Also, our Advocacy for Veterans Program includes information and assistance with VA Benefits & Disability Claims, Welcome Home Bonus application, Annual Veteran “Stand Down” Event, discharge upgrade application assistance, and Military Records requests. Vet/Senior Reach Out
Available at all VNEOC locations
This service is targeted toward aging Veterans who are living in senior housing programs, or who may otherwise be unable to integrate in the community. Often, these Veterans are unaware of their eligibility for benefits and services. VNEOC offers assistance with these programs and services and provides referrals, to include Elder Services referrals, when needed.
